Extra extra! This one time, when I was drunk...
Seriously though, this is the rough sketch I did of yesterday's comic after I'd had a bit too much to drink. Often when I get an idea for a comic I forget the next day so I need to AT LEAST write it down if not do a quick rough sketch/layout. This time I opted for the second option. In any case, when I looked at it the next day, I laughed. And wondered if it would be even funnier than the end result. So what the hell, I posted both. :)

Remember this comic? I am bringing it up because the kitty featured here, Azrael, passed away today after his battle with diabetes and related problems became too much for him to bear. He was my boyfriend's cat but I still loved the little cuddlemonster very dearly and this wasn't an easy decision... it's been a very hard day. So I figured I'd make a post in his honor. Az was a very cute, sweet little kitty cat (with people, at least - he hated other kitties) and he was loved and adored up until his last moments on this earth.
Rest well, sweet boy.

Head Trip updates tomorrow with a real gods-honest comic. No joke. Well, yes, there'll be a joke in it. But you know what I mean.
Eventually I'll make a ~super serious~ PSA sort of thing about the facts about my disability/health/pain issues along with an apology about how much it affects the comic and my art altogether. Hopefully it'll calm people down who worry when the comic goes on breaks, and ease their mind to let them know that it's okay I'm probably just going through a bad pain stage that keeps me from being able to work. If it's ever anything worse than that I'll say so.

Comic might be delayed, as my long faithful wacom tablet is coughing out its dying breaths. And while I'm not quite broke I'm also a bit uneasy with spending too much on a new one, so until I can find something affordable art is going to be very difficult to do. I might just delay this one and try a comic in pencil to have for you this week.
'Tis the season though so I'm staying positive :)
