I'm out of my generational element with all the emo references.

It was still New Wavers and goths when I went to school.

I realized you have an interesting Comic World: all the superheros and supervillians wear Robin-esk eye masks and dress in black. Except Chemokid, who still has the hospital gown thing going.

Not a complaint, just an observation.

Am I the only person that noticed the blonde?

I don't mean to point out something that may make me look like an idiot who doesn't read head trip enough. But is it just be or has the death stick smoker made an appearance before?

Derek Zoolander:I think I'm getting the black lung, Pop. [coughing] It's not very well-ventilated down there.

Larry Zoolander: For Christ's sake, Derek, you've been down there one day. Talk to me in thirty years.

I'm not sure why this comic reminded me of that... maybe it's the cigarette... hmm ;)

Sorry dear, your probably not going to like this comment, but I hope you'll appreciate the honesty..

I don't care for the Emo/Chemo kid story. I love the regular cartoon, because of the zany violence and all that, but for whatever reason the E/C story just doesn't keep my attention at all.. I know that your trying to be taken more seriously, but it does feel like alot of the story is being taken over by these guys.

So in summary.. Enough with the sausage fest? :3

... "Sausage fest"? So your issue is that E and C are guys? That seems a bit silly. And it has nothing to do with being taken seriously... cause a whiny kid and a cancer patient as superheroes is really not the route to go if I want to be taken as a serious writer, I think.

The point was that they are taking over the story as a whole. I'm not here to see them, I'm here to see the fun part of your story, which they've been replacing more and more lately.

Well the point here really is that I enjoy doing E&C every so often. The normal Head Trip stuff has been a bit slow for good reasons, and it'll hopefully pick up more soon. But for now I am doing what I enjoy doing. You don't have to read or like E&C, I don't care if you do or not, but they're not taking over Head Trip.

Well, I am going to respectfully disagree where, I like the E & C comics. Even more so that there is now an on-going plot for them. I wish they came out more regularly, though, as I sometimes forget the plot during long breaks. I am not saying that Friday's should become always E & C strips, and how many are done at a time is dependant on what the current line requires, so it shouldn't be forced. Ummmm... I think that I have gotten lost on where I was going this this post...

After my initial archive dump a few weeks ago, I found myself hoping that it wouldn't be very long till the next E&C installment- and when I saw the latest ones, I was overjoyed. E&C amuses me greatly, (No, it wasn't nearly high pitched and girly enough!) and yet still has me cheering for Chemokid and Rider with all the seriousness of a rabid Harry Potter fangirl squeeing for her favorite pairing (which is rather alarming.)

That simultaneous combination of lulz and drama, achieved through the mesh of an absurd concept paired with serious characterization, is probably one of the hardest kinds of writing to pull off, in my experience- and you do it very well.

So let them bitch. I, for one, love E&C to death, and am quite pleased at every installment.
